Cosmetic Dentistry & Smile Design

A smile that looks
like a very good day
of you.

The best cosmetic dentistry is the kind no one can identify as cosmetic dentistry. We design to your face — your lip line, your gum line, your character — not to a generic template. Subtle, careful, real.

What we offer

The full range, matched to you.

Cosmetic dentistry is rarely about one procedure. It's about choosing the smallest intervention that gets you the result you actually want.

  • In-office whitening

A 90-minute appointment using professional-grade whitening with custom take-home trays for maintenance. Typically 4–8 shades whiter.

  • Porcelain veneers

Thin, layered ceramic shells that reshape, brighten, and align front teeth. Designed digitally, fabricated by a master ceramist, bonded permanently.

  • Composite bonding

For small chips, gaps, and reshaping, bonded composite (the same material as fillings) is shaped directly on your tooth. Reversible, affordable, gorgeous when done right.

  • Clear aligners (Invisalign)

When the underlying problem is alignment, we don't cover it up with veneers — we move the teeth. Often the right answer.

  • Gum contouring

A "gummy" smile is sometimes the actual issue, not the teeth. A small laser-assisted gum contour can transform the proportions of a smile.

  • Complete smile design

A full upper-arch redesign combining several techniques. Treatment plans range from 4 weeks to 6 months depending on what's involved.

Designed to your face
The process

Slow at the start. Permanent for a reason.

  1. Listen, then plan

    60–90 min

We start with what you don't like — and what you do like — about your smile. We take photos, scans, and (often) a 3D mockup of what could change. No pressure, no upsell. Sometimes the answer is whitening alone, not veneers.

  2. Smile design preview

    Asynchronous

We create a digital preview of your proposed result. You see it on your face before any tooth is touched. If you don't love it, we keep refining until you do — or we don't proceed.

  3. Provisional trial smile

    60 min

For veneers, we make a temporary "trial smile" in your mouth — bonded composite that mimics the final result. You wear it for a few weeks, take it for a test drive, show your partner, get used to it. We refine from there.

  4. The work itself

    Varies by procedure

Whitening: one visit. Bonding: one visit. Veneers: two visits, ~3 weeks apart. We work in a quiet operatory at our pace, not a production pace.

  5. Reveal & care plan

    30 min

We bond, polish, photograph, and walk you through care: what to eat, what to avoid (mostly nothing), what to do nightly. You leave with a printed care plan and a follow-up scheduled at 2 weeks and 6 months.

Common questions

The answers most patients ask first.

Will my veneers look fake?

Only if they're designed to. Modern porcelain veneers — when shaped, layered, and shaded by someone with an aesthetic eye — are indistinguishable from natural teeth in normal light. The "Hollywood veneer" look is a choice, not the default. We design to your face, not to a template.

Do veneers ruin your real teeth?

Modern minimal-prep veneers remove far less enamel than traditional crowns — often less than the thickness of a contact lens. Your underlying tooth is preserved. That said, veneers are committal: once you have them, you'll need to maintain or eventually replace them. We talk about that openly.

How long does whitening last?

In-office whitening typically lasts 1–3 years before a touch-up is wanted. We send you home with custom trays so you can refresh in 20-minute sessions, on your schedule. Coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco all shorten the duration. Genetics also matter.

What does "smile design" mean?

It's the process of designing a smile that fits your specific face — lip line, gum line, golden ratios, color, character. Done well, the result doesn't look like "veneers" — it looks like an exceptionally healthy version of you. We use software to model it, but it's ultimately an aesthetic judgment.

I just want whiter teeth. Do I need veneers?

Probably not. Most people who think they need veneers actually need whitening, minor bonding to close a small gap or reshape a chip, or both. We routinely talk patients out of veneers when the simpler option will give them what they want. Honesty is our default.
